Bistek Tagalog (Filipino Beef Steak) is a perfect blend of savory, salty, and tangy flavorful dish made with beef steak, marinated with soy sauce, vinegar, onion rings, garlic, and black pepper. It is a very simple process yet the result is a delicious meaty dish.

Let's Start with Ingredients and  Instructions 


Put all the ingredients in the blender.

Marinate the beef slices with soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic and black pepper

Cook the onion rings until translucent. Take them out and set them aside.

Cook the marinated beef in the same pot until slightly caramelized. Set them aside in a plate. Reserve the marinade for sauce.

Pour the reserved marinade and let it simmer in medium heat.

Return the meat, stir in with the sauce.
