Marinate the  squid rings into buttermilk mixture.

Coate them with the cornstarch mixture.

Put them air-fryer basket. Brush them with cooking oil or cooking spray.

Air fry the calamari squid at 400F until golden brown. Flip and continue to  cook the other side.
